Turn 4 was the problem. You attacked toward his spawn and you only took out his runner. Even if he didn't have that soldier on the spawn, you couldn't have pushed forward and you had nothing to attack in the southwest direction. Taking out medics is overrated, too. If he needed to replace the medic due you having snipers/heavies, it may have been useful. Otherwise, you took away a unit that had no attack power and gave away one of your units that could attack.
