As long as the opponent is not Scally or FB, it's not too OP. And on large maps it's sort of wit-inefficient to have one vine travel across the map on a special hunt. I think it can be avoided if the player actually thinks about it.

So you think you should only play as veggies or adorables to overcome this veggie 1st power move

Or pick a large map. Just play smart and you should be fine. As we all know, Veggie is already a bit lower than the other teams - this just gives them a little edge .
