If i'm correct, Breaumont gets first place, and you get second because he beat you in your game.
Gfich is correct - the first Tie-Breaker "Head to Head" means, the person who won the game that both of the tied players already played, wins the tie.
So Breaumont will take first place and sal702 gets second place, as already noted in the document where you looked up the groups: >>click<<

So now to the more complicated part:

Edit: assuming they each win their game against slowmike who may or may not be active.
The 2nd tiebreaker means you sum up the points of the opponents you won against. This means that wins against strong opponents are rewarded more while losses against weaker opponents are punished less.

The reason why I didn't want to include more than 2 tiebreaker rules is, there aren't really any other good ones. Base Health and Turn Count are often not indicative of who controlled the game and has problems to incorporate resigned games or byes.
Giving the win to the player who won more games as P2 (like in chess for more wins with black), but since not everyone played the same amount of P2 games (and I just discovered that challonge has a horrible flaw) I don't think that's ideal either.

What I didn't account for is that Sonneborn-Berger is absolutely useless for 3way 4-1 ties if Head-to-Head doesn't work.
I don't want to play an additional full playoff round like the World Cup, since I really really want this tournament to be shorter, so not all of my participants are in masters by the time it ends.
So if you're really unhappy with the random draw, I'd propose a kind of Sudden Death playoff with the rules of the Micro strategic tournament, where you are not allowed to build ANY units.

What do you all think?
