RE: 2v2 Frustrations

I don't mind a little cue stacking to balance your FT, but they seem to go overboard. If you don't want to have multiple games against the same opponent at a high level, don't start 10 games at a time. Now they have first turn in all those games and they can pick which map they want to play. Anyway, my post is more an indictment of the system. It's ridiculous that this far along, there isn't some sort of random FT. At the very least 2v2 needs to have a FTA balance. For now, I agree that you can't penalize declines. I do it myself to preserve some semblance of balance in our games. That's why I stated you can't penalize without fixing the other problems first. Oh and yes, they did also cancel a couple games as first player. So basically they have first turn games on the maps of their choice. Not knocking them so much as I am the system.(02-17-2013 05:08 AM)TheQwertiest Wrote:(02-17-2013 04:51 AM)worldfamous Wrote: I recently went to start some games and the first 6 games were all against Gurleyman/Krogoth with us as P2. Of those 3, two were cancelled by P4 (1 was Gurleyman, which is not cool since we had 6 as P2) (02-17-2013 09:03 AM)alexjiang1 Wrote:(02-17-2013 04:51 AM)worldfamous Wrote: 1. FTA fix similar to 1v1 (those of you that feel this is not an issue haven't played enough 2v2, *winks* @ MrB & AlexJ) Either you or your brother had said you didn't think FTA in 2v2 is noticeable. I'm just saying, if you haven't felt it yet, you will after playing enough. I hate when people clog up the front page with duplicate threads. -1 for me. Edit: Hah, never mind. I see we almost simultaneously posted. Must be in the stars to fix 2v2. The collective conscience at work. |
