I'm going to type out my interpretation and you tell me if I got it wrong:
14 multiplied by variable 'g' minus quantity 5 multiplied by g multiplied by k plus 6 multiplied by x multiplied by y. You're asking me to evaluate (5gk + 6xy) and subtract the result from 14g. Right or wrong? My thought is that you meant 14g(5gk+6xy) (without the subtraction) and wanted me to apply the distributive property. But you're saying that 14g - (5gk + 6xy) is the same thing as 14g - 5gk - 6xy, right? |
