Ok, that's not a simplification, that's a change of the expression. You get a different result if you evaluate that versus the original expression. Example: For g = 1, k = 2, x = 3, y = 4;
Original expression = -68 Your 'simplified' expression = 76 Order of operations is important. Back on topic: That was supposed to be Ben Franklin... What's the difference between saying, " I mean what I say" and' "I say what I mean?" (Answering eijolend's question) Because we're all mad here. |
