This is still true.

Steps to reproduce:

1. Start a game in Outwitters.
2. Outwit your opponent.
3. When you make the move that ends the game (e.g. destroy your opponent's base or kill all enemy units while covering all enemy spawns), "Sending Turn" will appear on screen.
4. Immediately after "Sending Turn" disappears, press the Chat button.

When I do this, usually it stalls for a bit, and then goes to chat. Though it occasionally does crash.
