Welcome competitors and spectators to the very first National Outwitters League Playoffs!

After a long brutal 1st NOL season we now have our playoff contenders. Congrats to the division winners and wild card seeds:

Wild Card Weekend
Below is something I put together for the playoffs that I’ll update as I go. The Wild Card matchups are listed below and can begin immediately.

Here are the Playoff rules as a refresher:

The Playoffs
The playoffs will run like the NFL playoffs. The #2 and #1 teams from each conference receive a bye during wild card weekend. The wild card round will be a 1 game winner takes all with the winner of the division choosing the map against the person who received a wild card bid. The second and third rounds will be best of 3 with the higher seed being P1 and choosing the map twice, and lower seed being P1 once and choosing the map once. No race or map restrictions for this either. Games must be started within 1 week.

(And just to give an example, since lawtai is the division winner he gets to choose the map and plays as P1 against .Memories. who received the wild card bid. If any questions please ask.)

The Super Titan Bowl
This will be a best of 5 with three maps and P1s being chosen by the team with better record during the regular season, the other player will choose 2 maps. Or if the records are the same and the tie breaking previously stated, the player ranked higher in the top 200 will be given the benefit of a higher seed.

Also, please post your results in this thread when they are complete. Do not post playoff results in the other NOL thread.

Are you having the second round similar to the NFL where the top seed plays the lowest seed? So assume that Gaebora wins and Memories wins, then Awpertunity would play Memories since Memories is seeded lower than Gaebora.

It's a single game elimination with amoffett getting map choice. We're still in round 1 wild card round.
