Let's leave the rule as is. The FTA "fix" doesn't mean that FTA is suddenly balanced. It just means that the harshness of it has been diminished slightly. Teams acting first will still be statistically favored over teams acting second, even with the additional wits given.

Just make it the higher seeded teams choice in case any team feels that way.

So as higher seed you can choose to go first and defer map selection to your opponent, or choose the map and go 2nd.

I believe not change the rules is fairest.
Bramble got changed, new maps were introduced etc.
Tournament rules stayed the same.
FTA fix just helps a bit the team 2, the team that has had hard uphill battle against the team 1 (with a clear offensive plan).
To be honest, those 3 match set up rules as they are, seem fair now. Something to be proposed if tournament started today.

On Sugar Rock we opened a bit clueless, then we lost bombshell (calculated risk) ... and at least I felt bad that we failed to put up decent defense. On Acrospire I am ok with our team performance, offence was great from start to finish! I bet P0werCrazy and Gavin Wins have similar thoughts about mine and Akkete's offence on Machination.
