RE: Homemade Outwitters Board Game
I would only play this if it were a figurines game like Warhammer. I'd say at least 1/3 of what makes Outwitters cool is the artwork so 2D tiles just wouldn't do it justice IMO
@Chemoeum: Warhammer 40,000 is a Sci-Fi strategy board game. Think of it as Starcraft but with little figures instead of virtual units GameCenter: ElPared Crying Foot OSN Player Profile: ElPared -- I'm always posting both wins and losses, critiques welcome |

RE: Homemade Outwitters Board Game
Going off of Spacechefs ideas...what if both players start off the match with an X number of units that they can spawn during the course of the match...once those are depleted then you can't spawn anymore...this I guess would make it similar to the unit shuffle tourney.
Also, perhaps not bother with a medic and just have units have a set health? Maybe runners leave at 1 but heavy's at 5...soldiers at 3, snipers at 2 and specials at their max...then limit the amount of spawns per type to balance. And I agree this would only be cool with figurines. |

RE: Homemade Outwitters Board Game
Has anybody ever played heroscape?
It could be similar to that. It's got the same hexagon shapes. And every time I play, I make the board have equal sides just Like outwitters is. |

I keep hearing about hero scape, it's apparently getting rather popular.

RE: Homemade Outwitters Board Game
It does look like heroscape but without the fantasy monsters and the elevation
