I had been preparing that attack since forever. LOL
I was kicking myself on turn 18; you actually left your base wide open for a sneak attack. I didn't expect you would leave it open, and that is why I tele'd my runner to a different spot. Top 200: #2 Winner, 2013 Winter World Cup, OWSA Tournament |

I know exactly what you're talking about, don't need to check. I was kicking myself after sending that turn...was like...wtf why did I do that? But I figured you had moved the runner to a different spot, and you had, so it was ok. But I don't want you to think I didn't realize my mistake!
It'll be GG when you're up against GG of GG. |

I am in the middle of moving from California to Pennsylvania right now so won't have time to do anything until October but someone else could run it if they want I don't think I'll have as many people in the next one though. Many people dropped out at various stages which was disappointing, the original World Cup retained all its players and finished in a much more timely manner which was nice. |

still wondering about this - I don't want to run it because I wouldn't be able to provide prizes, but I could run it as a tournament. I just want it to be popular like it was here because the prizes made it interesting.

Haha be careful what you wish for... in my opinion this tournament became "too popular" if you want to call it that. A free sign up for prizes attracts a ton of initial attention with a lot of players not following through which drove me crazy. I had to start so many individual games with the people to get them to play their games and I wouldn't want to do that again with 250 people. That does give me an idea about maybe hosting a tournament with a buyin that could go towards a prize pool... like $5 or $10. Not sure how many people would be interested in that though... |

This made me lookup my games from the first world cup, what a world of difference in skill between now and then!

I received something for 3rd. I gave it to my wife as a small token for all of the countless hours spent on this game.
