just put this on the suggestions thread, but they could put people in devisions based on activity, and possible times where they are most frequently active, to speed games up. so active players are more likely to get matched up against other active players

They have done this timer on many board games played online. I've played a few.
I haven't read all the posts so maybe the following solution will solve a problem that has already been fixed. The timer can be extended say 30 seconds every time a person makes a move within the allotted amount of time for the full players time limit. This could or could not be added on for the players next turn. Like a way to have good standing in the game time limited game. This good standing would not carry onto other games. Also if a person misses a turn, I do not think they should be booted, however I do think after no more than three turns missed they should be. I think this is a great idea, sometimes I want to just sit down and have all my attention on one thing at a time. A way to unwind. |
