As for the display bug, it happens when there are characters that are unrecognised by the UTF-8 charset. Not much I can do about this.

Concerning the unknown location thing, I'm not sure. Technically this could indeed be caused by the asynchronous calls to another forum (plugin) script and therefore making the last action that unnamed plugin's action. However I haven't seen that a lot, I rather guess they are viewing clan forums or something.
