Uprooting a bramble?

Uprooting a bramble?
When you uproot a piece of bramble (not the main critter) is there any way of telling which children will also be uprooted?

I'm in a real bramble struggle, and want to make some space to get some critters out, but daren't as I don't know what else will get uprooted. I've lost track of what spawned what a long time ago.

Your best bet is the replay, and if you have a usual pattern of vining, well that should clue you in.
