RE: Bramble conspiracy theory
Of course they want to give bonuses to people who do support OML by buying items in the store. But to purposefully overpower? I doubt it. They take each update through player beta tests, and those beta testers would be speaking up if they felt that way. They understand what will happen with the bramble update, and I am sure OML went through different tests with the beta testers, but they wanted to see what it would do in production with the player population.

There will always be controversy with the "most powerful" units. It was that way with scallies, then once people figured out tactics with mobi, and now bramble has taken the stage. The real difficulty is finding the balance for styles of play. There is no way to find that out except in normal play.

RE: Bramble conspiracy theory
No way. At first, Bramble was useless and they had to buff Bramble. No it's OP and we have to nerf it. Bramble is still being balanced and the update was an attempt to do that.

I hear there's a secret Mobi hidden here somewhere…

RE: Bramble conspiracy theory
No way would OML deliberately OP the bramble. Wouldn't they consider there being unease within all players and therefore put them off buying anything? After all, if it were that case then why not make all the other teams OP too except scalleywags? OML are really concerned with making a game where all chances are equal whether you pay or not.

Once a master of nothing, now a noob to pretty much everything.

RE: Bramble conspiracy theory
Somehow I suspect that if OML was only interested in money, Outwitters wouldn't be at all like the game that we do have.
