Jumped from clever to gifted (same rank)

Just got promoted to Gifted after winning one close match, so proud

(was stuck in #1 fluffy and then top5 clever for very, very long time)

Yh I know it feels epic to be promoted.
But after that I get really depressed because I lose half my points moving from one league to another....
And I don't get what you guys on this thread are on about. Points should always change when you get promoted or demoted...o_O

When you get promoted, you join a newly-created division. I know this because many of my opponents are getting promoted mid-game and they have less points than me but are ranked higher, because there were only 25-ish players in their divisions but I watched as newly-promoted players arrived in their divisions and they got pushed further down the line. The same happened to me; I have pretty much the same points as when I was promoted and I was ranked #10 but am now ranked #46
