I just took a peek at the format. Every player in a certain league needs to have a different w/l ratio before they can move on the phase 2? That would mean each participant has to play at least 15 games, in sequence. In general, one set of games takes ~2 weeks. 15 rounds would take around 7 freaking months!

A couple of questions/things to consider: how many people advance to the next stage from each grouping? Also, under the current format do we have to wait for everyone to finish their game before we start the next one? This could drag the tournament out longer too

My suggestion would be to just do 64-32-16-8-4-2-1
6 rounds in total.

You can pair up winners of the same league, until you have four left who have each won their respective leagues. Then just gotta figure out a way to pair the last four xp
