No special mode
I'm not sure if this has been suggested before or not but I would be interested in an option to disable specials in league play, playing raw tactics knowing that you and your opponent will have the same tools

I think that would get a little stale. I mean, I agree, it would make it more chess-like, but I think part of the appeal is the slight differences.
Although this is totally possible as an honor rule in tournaments. |

This mode involves pure strategy, without the inherent team differences. A different kind of appeal, I suppose.
