Weekly Top 200 - 11/16/2012

Woohoo! FYI, I made this list after less than 10 wins as master. I'm at 68 wins now and I just had my 3rd league loss - I accidentally let a game expire. Duh. I'm looking forward to some more competition (with a few losses).

Heycoolkid and Yz Easy are names in disguise. They are not cool and not easy to play with at all. I had my fair share of experience with them. You will have a good time playing with them. But I do suggest playing actively after the update is available.

I am wondering the same thing. The general understanding is that there are about 200 supertitans, but more and more I am seeing people in master league reach high overall ranks. This means that either the promotion system is wacky...or there are only about 100 supertitans. Or, there are about 100 supertitans not appearing in the ranking list due to inactivity?

I don't know because alexch2 said he is a Master and he is #99 and I know Riptor who is #113 is a Super-Titan.

Based on my experience, promotion to higher league happens when you win x # of wins in a row. I believe i had around 20 wins streak when i got the super titan promotion. Given that you are paired with people with equal rating or higher, it is very difficult to achieve this. The rankings are based on the hidden (match making) raiting, this is why you see a mix of master/st top 200.

I am not exactly sure, what is the # of games for a demotion from ST, but if it is lowered a little bit we will see more consistent separation between ST/master leagues on the top 200.

And yes, there are some "old" STs who are easier opponents than some Master players.
