Private Leagues?

The league system in this game is great, first of all, but it made me think that it'd be cool if i had the option to create a "private league". Pretty much the ability to host a league with only other invited players. It would be cool to get matched up against my gc friends to see who's the best. Organized tournaments within these would also be fun, maybe an option to set up a bracket with a few settings like how many games per matchup and stuff. Just an idea

This is very convenient for the end user but may produce clutter somewhere. As for the purposes you have stated, maybe you can just your own points system and ranking. Keep records and tables for reference. Others have done it before in the form of tournaments. I like your idea but appreciate the current neat in-app interface.
