How to get reputation as a user

all of them put up a negative rating which lead to a negative rep. i think putting it back to zero was enough..

The reason for there being a reputation is in it's name - If you make good posts that help other people, entertain other people, guide discussions, or you and your friends here always make each other laugh it's a reasonable indication of it. The best advice I can give to new forum users is to only post what you think is suitable and to learn about how that community works, then all the posts you make will be just instinct in the future

That sounded so cheesy but I think it's true! When I was younger I was always excited to make lots of posts and in the end all that did was clog up forums. Learnt better now

I leave neutral rep to advise someone when they should think before posting or if I disagree with something they say. I haven't needed to neg rate yet.
