When I updated to ios8, my iPad froze up. It's currently got the apple logo and nothing else. It's been like that for 14 hrs. I have several games in progress, is there any chance I can get the clock stopped on those games so that I don't lose by forfeit?

That's impossible, but I was wondering what the hold up was in our game. I really don't think it's possible to put games on hold. Definitely try to get that fixed as it probably interferes with rl as well.

You might want to try a hard reset. Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for ~10 seconds.

You might want to try a hard reset. Hold the Home and Sleep/Wake buttons down together for six seconds.

I've tried the hard reset thing several times. The Apple logo reappears, begins downloading the update and freezes at about 40% complete. I sense a Genius bar visit in my future. Sorry for the delay [PETA]Doodat. You're crushing me anyway!!
