well as im not from the u.s. i dont have a home or specific city that i should root for. i just pick the team who i think will win.

But if i need to give out a reason on why i support the heat it would probably be because ive been a fan of lebron since i was in grade school (for about 8 years now i think) and i want to see him win. i just want him to shut all the haters up. so what if he left cleveland. i think the point of playing is to win so why stick it out if you cant win there. and i disagree with the people saying that miami is store bought. you get bought but you get payed less? they accept the lesser pay with a bigger goal in mind. to win championships. and i dont think theres anything wrong with that.

but all in all im not really a die hard miami fan. i also root for other teams like cavs, clippers, knicks, goldenstate etc. it just so happens that its the heat that made its way to the finals. i go with the team who i think will win. but i do wish that lebron would return to the cavs.

Basketball was HUGE where I was visiting in the Philippines, too. All the kids played.

but they do have their own basketball associations.
FIBA, Euroleague, PBA etc. there are tons more.

We don't really follow basketball here in the UK.... Unless you're a die hard fan. But even I heard about the amazing Last minute Ray Allen 3-pointer!!!!
