Well if they ever came out with an extremely moddable outwitters this would be super cool. Moddable outwitters would be e best thing ever. I would die. And buy it.

Assuming the above team being picked may be unknown to your opponents but already assigned by you the following could accrue.
Believe that the whole idea may have revolved around your knowing which team you are against from viewing in FoW the opponents base. A requirement to scout with a runner to see what units the player has would give a person an idea what they are up against. Rushes and early games may take a few extra turns longer because making short term rushes may not be worthwhile without starting the game scouting your opponents. Also, one would have to place their troops in an advantageous area in order to give sight without being seen. Runners can accomplish this very simply however other units on smaller maps can too and the question comes into play should a person show what type of units they have chosen yet or not?
