I don't know what he was trying to and more importantly do you think he could've won?
I don't think he would have been able to move his bombshells effictively across the map without me being able to stop him, and i think this is one of the good aspects of the game design that works against turtlers specially bombshells, because moving each one costs three wits which he wouldn't be able to afford on a big map not to mention a small one

maybe have a 3-layer bombshell then advance a layer at a time. but it may take a while. (it will take a long long time).
then try to push to the spawn point side and block the spawn point. taking over the wit tile would be useless at this point as you both would probably have too much wits.

Interesting game indeed! I wonder why you didn't heal the BS you captured and why your opponent didn't attack the 1hp BS...
It would be great if we could try things out with the final setup of units. Actually i do believe that it shouls be able to advance the BS line over time but I may be wrong....

It was 3 hp bombshell actually this is just a visual glitch after the update, i abused the fact that the scrambled bs keeps its hp
