Runner beats Sniper.
Sniper beats Heavy.
Heavy beats Soldier.
Soldier beats Runner.
Why post this? Because the idea is fun. Plus, it can be a good rule of thumb when trying to counter your opponent.

The medic was left out because it does not attack. Though you are still 100% right, the medic is part of what makes this game so interesting for not having any randomised effects.
Besides, "Medic beats . . ." is contrary to what they do - healing.

A heavy could never catch a runner, so it would b a tie. A soldier and sniper can OHKO each other, but their range is the same so they would stand off - also a tie.
Unless one or the other was silly. "Charge!" Yells the runner as he sprints headlong at the heavy. :0

Using this reasoning, all of the following would be ties as well:
Sniper vs. Heavy
Heavy vs. Soldier
Soldier vs. Runner

A heavy could catch a runner if trapped or when they both die and go to the graveyard or heaven.

You should be able to kill other medics by healing them

Isn't it interesting that what started as "dumb down the core matchups of Outwitters" resulted in a more expansive look at the numerous scenario's involved (medics, distance etc). It just highlights why Outwitters is such a compelling game.
