In the past two weeks, my brother (Fluffy 50 ish) and I (clever 25ish) have seen 4 first timers, but one who we think is an alt. (he beat my brother in 6 turns). Are we growing?

There are always some new guys, but many of them are alts. Also many don't stick around long. We might actually be shrinking, as there are some players putting the game down.

uh, what's a first-timer? how can you possibly know everyone in fluffy/clever?

I'm guessing she means that they were unranked in every season. Meaning they were still in their first five games.

What do you all remember from your newbie days?
I didn't know about spawn points, and lost horribly, with about fifty wits, and I thought medics can heal up to crazy high.

In my first 3 games I didn't realise that the Medic had a heal action. I thought that it was a passive effect and any units adjacent to it would get a benefit

Heavies were my favorite unit to spawn. I thought they were so great. Also, I was really aggressive with my medics.

Um, I don't remember much. I placed into Gifted after playing a couple random friendlies, which was a pretty bad experience. All I remember might be getting destroyed by Mag!cGuy
