They made a skirt out of smart phones. Is this a good thing? Nokia's stock does appear to have enjoyed a 14 cent per share increase shortly after the news dropped Valentine's Day morning, but by the end of the day this gain had evaporated almost completely, though it did rise again after the weekend. My own take on this is that it's a good thing, because my wife almost always can't find her phone after she puts it down somewhere. With a skirt like this, it seems very unlikely that she'd ever not know where her phone is. On the other hand, you might have a hard time getting through security at airports. I'm also wondering how you would sit down wearing this, but I think this might be a surmountable difficulty comparable to walking in high heels.
I hope they make a kilt next. I want one.

I doubt this outfit would take the fashion world by storm. And it probably has a pricetag of $3-5k.
Probably just something to do for fun and get in the news.

It's made of eighty Lumia 1520s. They're what, like, five or six hundred dollars a piece? So I'd guess more like $50,000! I'm guessing it's a one of a kind promotional gimmick.
