Some TTL2 tips and a replay - s951736 - 12-16-2013 06:07 PM

Hi!
Before you read this post,I suggest you to see this Trick list first, most of the trick in the game listed, its very helpful!

Here are some tips of mine:
1.Increasing the combo number is more important than kill red dots.

2.Always eat those item which not helpful to increase combo, like color ball, laser ball.
If game is just beginning, eat disguise and shield too,we need them only when red dots are going crazy(like two or three mins after game started).

3.Hitting burning ball is the fastest way to increase combo, and just for safe,we should use disguise or shield while hitting the ball.

4.Because of nuke has high chance to come up,so always keep nukes untouched, unless there are two or more on the screen at same time, then go eat them and getting the Match 3 Nukes combo.

5.In the late game(two or three mins after game started),do the best to keep at least one disguise on the field, and make sure you are not using it unless skewers show up(they are most dangerous thing in this game..).

6.Upper limit of combo is 100.

feel free to share your tips too!Blush

And the video below is one replay of my code red game,
which score is 876,460,560 (best of mine so far=D)

Right after I get out of a boss fight, I like to immediately do the Wall Runner achievement to make sure I keep my multiplier up.

Yup, I tried this too, I might have with a disguise on the board or the hungry shield. Mostly though, on regular sensitivity, I've been able to get the first long wall done while the white flash still covers the screen while the boss dying animation goes.

How the heck do you beat bosses?
I know how in principle (kill the green targets) but HOW?
Haven't beaten a single one yet

Here's a tip.The skewers are supposed to target your location and at certain times, a large number will launch at you. You can use this to your advantage by grabbing a disguise and staying in one place. The disguise should keep you from getting hurt by the skewers that should be passing right over you. That should be enough to satisfy the combo "Almost Skewered". That is an additional combo per skewer. Do this right and you could quickly have a big boost in your combo number. If you are especially good, you could even get a "Zen" combo. The only thing to watch for is when your disguise pops. If the skewers are still going, you will need to get out of there fast.
