The Rare Red Spike Shield - Leaf_It - 07-19-2013 05:57 AM It happens occasionally when you pick up a second spike shield while using one that is flashing red. I actually really like it, and would be very disappointed if it was "fixed", but I wanted to show it here as I haven't seen a post about it before. I tend to think of it as better and more powerful, (even though it's probably not) just because its rare and hard to get. It would be cool if a powerup would randomly (maybe 1% of the time) be a different, more powerful version of its normal functionality. Would add to the fun.
