2V2 mismatchmaking - Panga Panga - 03-20-2013 08:27 AM
I'm in the #1 slot in the Clever tier and routinely get paired with players that are either unranked or in the lower ranks of the Fluffy tier. What's with this?! When my partner rushes his opponents with Brambles (not vines mind you, but the Bramble unit itself) and ignore bonus hexes entirely, what chance do I have at victory? It then becomes 2V1 as both of my opponents are in the upper to mid Clever league with several games under their belts.
How is this fair?

Once i was paired with Waymaniac and ==(888)== who are a Master team and i was still a Fluffy in 1v1 and 2v2

I suggest you find a partner you trust and play with him instead of 2v2r.

I think balancing 2v2 random wouldn't be too hard. Just make a limit as to the difference between all of the players ranks.
I.e. no more than X levels above or below rank and no more than X tier difference.
If it were me, I'd say no more than 25 rank difference above or below, and no more than one tier difference.

lol I see what you did there, but with the range of 50 ranks you could still find random opponents within those ranks.

Im in gifted now but since my 2v2 random league is fluffy, i keep getting paired with fluffies and unranked. I want to get paired with gifted players. Friendly 1v1 is even worse. Everybody that plays that is unranked. There should be filters.
