If average 2v2 game ends at turn 50, that's 12 and half turns per player. If just one of those players takes weekends off or skips a day now and then game would last 25 days. Maybe a month?
All fast players that take turns daily basis know that there are several 3-4 day turn interval players, too.
Is there public statistics how long is a typical game?
If 2v2 team has 2 ongoing games, then they have on average a match finished every other week. Team would end up having less than 30 games per year.

For all of the 2v2 games submitted to OSN the average is 34.

The average turns is irrelevant if everyone plays their turns fast. As an example, I've completed twelve 2v2 games in the last week and most of them were started this week as well.

In gifted they last a week for me and in masters they go a month.

I play with several teammates and master (and Super Titan) matches last longer. To beat a top 20 team takes around 50 turns if we have FTA. As player 2 games can take much longer and you still likely to lose. And 50 turn game takes about a month to play.
Gurleyman/Krogoth300 versus Akkete/Juslas started at end of January and is still going on at the middle of March.

a match usually takes a week to finish for us. but maybe its cause we only get paired with the ninja bros. and theyre very active.

I still haven't finished a match since the ST promotion threshold was changed, so I'm still in masters... >.<
