Brambles jumping across a space? - mcrampsey78 - 03-14-2013 03:03 AM

I am currently playing Feedback vs Veggienauts on Sharkfood Island and had setup a wall consisting of Soldiers, brambles (via scrambler)and a heavy on either side of a space on the board.

The bramble was allowed to jump the gap on the board to get in behind me, take over my bonus space and kill one of my runners.

No other character can take a shortcut across a gap that i am aware of.

Am i going mad or is this a bug?

has always been this way, but I agree that it seems strange. Perhaps something to include in the inevitable nerf.

Yeah, i agree bramble thrns stretching across holes is unlogical.

Brambles don't grow through air (in real life) so I don't think it should be able to in game. Snipers/bombshells can shoot thru air of course so makes sense they can. But bramble shouldn't transcend physical limits, IMO...

Thorns in mid air can grow if they are dangling, and due to the nature of bramble, they are alive and can move and go in directions, so it kind of makes sense. Completely logical, no. Possible? Maybe.

they spread their roots under the hexes next to the hole and come up across from it?

It takes 3 spaces to go around something

It's a cartoon game with anthropomorphic creatures?
