In this game, we (Last Angel and me) tried to pressurize both bases, and it worked out quite well, although it got kinda awkward around turn 30 (i had to step on my teammate's spawn to prevent my base from dying horribly).

Any advise, guys?

Hmmmm looks pretty chaotic from both sides. Too many runners were moved next to enemy units letting them die to only 1 wit. Lots of runners were spawned and boosted when you(or your partner) could have assumed they'd be hit by a solider anyway so the boost was a wasted wit. You guys attacked both bases separately instead of one base together. You didn't seem to defend your side at all, instead attacking with and losing most of your units on that side of the map, leaving your base open pretty much the whole game. Your medic was spawned pretty late, after you did a bunch of attacking, might have been more effective to spawn earlier.

I'd work on setting up before attacking and spawning less runners in general. Your team might want to experiment with spawning and boosting soldiers, they're pretty useful.
A couple things I'd add. The most important thing to know in 2v2 is turn order. On the turn you blocked your teammate's spawn, you didn't really need to. Blue was not next and your teammate had a sniper there to take him down on his turn. Also there we a couple times where orange used wits to hit 3 health soldiers with his runner when red's heavy and sniper were right next to them and could finish them on their turn. Save those wits. If the soldiers were boosted,it's a good play. At 3 health it's unnecessary.

Here's my replay

Very proud of my slower version of the whale rush that I learned from the super titans Big Grin although I think I was excessively slow? Also dangerous as he would have won in one more turn... tips? I would be screwed if he took out my sniper on the last turn.

I had to change your link to outwitters://viewgame/?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YxunXAQw to load it up on http://osn.codepenguin.com/replays.

You're right that you should have lost this game, your opponent's last two wits spent should have been killing your sniper and he/she wins. I think the biggest thing you did wrong this game(because you should have lost) is spawn mobi and then leave your base wide open while you creeped up the side. It was too many wits on offense, not enough on defense.

A couple of other big picture things:
Overall strategy wise I'd say you let your opponent decide where the battles were going to happen most of this game. As P1 you get to direct the game if you choose, and you chose to direct it to center initially. On Sweetie Plains I would recommend moving the game to your opponents side wit space from the very beginning, as any time you land a unit on it you gain advantage while you can reinforce almost as well as they can because of spawn locations.

Help!

I cannot figure out how to counter this strategy on Glitch as P2. In fact, I've tried in pass and play to prevent it and I can't figure that out either. I can't figure out anyway I could have stopped it, please help me.

Save your wits. Make your own bombshell. This has priority over killing the enemy medic with your runner especially since you are P2. And you also need the range of vision of your runner to keep your bombshell safe and attack with its long range efficiently. Hope this helps.

Mobi'd

In this game, I started kinda slowly, let my opponent attack, to realize that he wasn't defending his left flank properly, which led to me attacking his base around turn 40.

Just clawed my way back in to the Master League and would like to stay there this time.  I am posting replays of my losses, since the promotion, to see if there is any advice I can gather to help my cause.

Mindless Runner scam FTW?

This saddens me. He literaly spawned nothing BUT runners. Yet this seems to outwit a somewhat more intelligent strategy. Undecided
