I played a 2v2 ranked and won but didn't get a league ._. it still says 5 of 5 preliminary matches left.. is that supposed to happen

That depends. You need to play 5 placement matches with each arranged partner and 5 placement matches with random partners in order to be ranked. These rankings are individual and independent of each other.
Say you play 5 placement matches with me - we would be ranked together then. Now you play 2v2 league games with somebody else - you will start with placement matches again to be ranked. Our ranking will not be affected by this.
You are ranked with the 10 most recent arranged partners and once for random partners as far as I know.

I understand that, but .__. I won 2 games now and it still says 5 of 5 Also when I click my profile it says 2v2 is my rank for 1v1 .... Bug perhaps?
