Just finished a game of 2v2 and it ended when we destroyed only one of the opponent's bases. Is that how it's supposed to be?

LOl if it was 2v2 and destroy 2 bases, it would be boring for hte person whos base was destroyed right?

Well I figured once eliminated they would simply be passed over for turns. Not boring they'd just be done with that game. Obviously they would be able to check in, but the point is moot.
