RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - GreatGonzales - 10-15-2013 11:35 PM I think this is a good game worthy of some discussion. Just completed, match from the iPro vs Good Game clan competition. outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICAgICJ4woM RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Pharmafan - 10-16-2013 12:16 AM (10-15-2013 11:35 PM)GreatGonzales Wrote: I think this is a good game worthy of some discussion. Nice opening covering the wit at the base with a boosted runner and very good positioning of your soldiers in T28! What a wonderful journey a mobi can perform on that map RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Thrutchy - 10-16-2013 12:00 PM (10-15-2013 11:35 PM)GreatGonzales Wrote: I think this is a good game worthy of some discussion. Just completed, match from the iPro vs Good Game clan competition. You played near flawless, i think! I did not. Here are a few of my mistakes: 11-15: i shouldn't have put that soldier directly across from that mobi. I should have at least followed up with more stronger units with that position. 21: I needed a little more vision before making this attack. I was hoping to catch one more soldier. This attack wasn't strong enough to be worth it. I probably should have teleported the soldier back once i saw that was all i could kill. I think the game was over by turn 24. Here is some better playing on my part: outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICAgJiz7QoM The key units on my side are bramble and heavy. I was keeping track of wits pretty tightly to make sure a scrambler wouldn't be a big problem. RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - CombatEX - 10-16-2013 12:30 PM Yea Bramble rush on Thorn Gulley is pretty strong. Haven't lost with it yet. RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Alvendor - 11-05-2013 08:10 PM Here is an interesting game outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICAgMT8sAoM Mobis and a lot of wits can be dangerous! The finish was quite elegant and clever. RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - TheQwertiest - 11-10-2013 11:12 AM wth.. poor orange.. couldnt do anything.. great move. RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Doug Hogg - 11-23-2013 07:40 PM Love it! Thanks. That was a great exercise. I came close -- needed a little more work on it. :-) Doug (09-16-2013 08:00 AM)L3R4T Wrote: Hi, RE: Super-Titan Replay Discussion - Thrutchy - 11-29-2013 12:38 PM I'll go ahead and post a couple of games from the season 2 elite tourney that I thought were interesting: outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICAwJ7usAkM In this game I directly attacked toward the spawn which is not the recommended course of action - especially against feedback. I was fairly confident that a scrambler was already lurking when I attacked, but knew he wouldn't have many wits and I took out enough units. A bramble was very useful in the final takeover of the spawn. outwitters://viewgame?id=ahRzfm91dHdpdHRlcnNnYW1lLWhyZHIVCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YgICA0MDPzwoM This one just shows that double scrambler beats double mobi - at least on this map. With 2 mobis, there was no reason to kill the mobis and instead focus on killing attacking units.
