I think that the reason this forum has kind of stagnated is the disappointment over the stop in new creation for outwitters. At the very least, both came at a remarkable close time. However, in addition to that, there aren't many more players coming to outwitters because it is no longer a new app, and it's chance to capture gamers, especially those who are part of other such games, has been lost. The reason there are so few people on the forums is that we've lost a lot of people. This can't be seen by people new to the forums. As such, our community has grown smaller and well knit. I recognize everyone's names on the forums and know generally what they're like. In fact, I'm really excited for the elite tournament for the commentary on it, even though I won't be a part of it.
While it is true that we've become more closely knit as a community, and this may seem intimidating to new frequenters of the forum, the posts like "post your replay for help" is far in the log because there are no more new players. I think that mag!cguy's harsh response was not entirely unwarranted, especially in the context of this community.
If clans were more easily accessible, especially straight from the game itself, I think that would be really cool/useful

I did miss playing Outwitters, but I think all the great people on the forums is what I missed the most.
