Okay, heres a riddle that makes more sense

My first reaction was 'skin' - but I don't get how that I could fall at its expense...
Anyway, I wanted to post this one - it's less of a riddle and even though you might moan at the beginning of it you should read it entirely and then complain ;-)
The mother is 21 years older than the daughter. In 6 years, the mother will be 5 times as old as the daughter.
Where is the father?
And yes, this can be solved.

Well.. the math gives me this:
Mother = 20.25 (20 years and 3 months)
Daughter = -.75 (-9 months)
So, um, the father is currently having sex with the mother to conceive said daughter. (Given that the typical pregnancy will last 9 months.)
If you're wondering, there are two equations and two unknowns. So, just make two equations, solve for an unknown, then plug it into the other.
M - 21 = D
and
(M + 6) = (D + 6) * 5
