On a side note, I would like to finish playing the games with you guys if you don't mind. I just don't think I'll be able to finish in a timely manner and do not want to slow down the entire tournament on account of me. I am enjoying the games a lot though so if you have a space to spare can we finish the games? =) I'll understand if you (pinoy, da wizerd, ukiyu) would rather not though. I suppose it is possible I would be able to finish my games before everyone else is done but at this rate it isn't looking likely hence my previous post.

You may as well just continue to play them for now. Group H still has most of their matches unreported too. If at some point you are the only player left with games, then we can see where you're at and decide then whether to wait or go on.
No point in giving up yet!

I don't know if this has been said yet, but kudos Awpertunity for managing an awesome tournament. This is one of the best run tournaments I've seen yet, including Hero Academy tournaments.

Agreed.. and the feel of the format is great:
- each person getting to play at least 6 games in a fun group stage, nice point system
- seedings done fairly
- FTA dealt with as fairly as possible with symmetric games on pre-selected maps
'Wins' are hard to come by and competition is tough - it feels like the real World Cup
Should definitely be a regular event, with history and past medalists recorded
