RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - Juslas - 03-10-2014 04:43 PM Now that all league matches are fetch to OSN, it is possible to publish win lose ratios, too. League list, from season 5 onwards, would show accurate winning ratio for current season. Top 200 list with carry on from previous seasons is not so straight forward, but reader should know that old merits count, too. Published ratio would exclude data prior season 5. With this kind of data, hidden ranking would not be mystery for long. RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - Chemoeum - 03-11-2014 04:20 AM Eat your heart out, Outwitters! Not really, that'd be gross. RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - onealexleft - 03-11-2014 11:20 AM Minor correction: league and friendlies are added to OSN. RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - Gullsjakal - 03-12-2014 06:07 AM I am very upset about the fact that all the Friendly games I have played over the last few weeks were automatically posted to OSN. One of the conditions I insist on before I will play a Friendly game with anybody is that all players agree that the game will NOT be posted to OSN. Did you even stop to consider that people may be testing out opening lines for league games they are currently playing? Is there a way I can have all my Friendly games you posted to OSN purged? Is there a way I can opt-out of having my Friendly games automatically posted to OSN in the future? RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - lawtai - 03-12-2014 06:12 AM Why would you care if your friendly games are being posted? I highly doubt that people are searching OSN for how people play. The vast majority of people playing outwitters don't use the forums, and probably have no idea OSN even exists. There are some things you can do if you are really concerned about this. 1. You can do pass and play games instead of friendlies 2. You can create an alternate GCID for your super secret strategy development RE: OSN Data Sharing Initiative - jchris98 - 03-12-2014 06:20 AM (03-12-2014 06:07 AM)Gullsjakal Wrote: I am very upset about the fact that all the Friendly games I have played over the last few weeks were automatically posted to OSN. Plus, if you're trying something out, why do you care? I wouldn't look at someone's friendlies to see how they play league anyway.
