Yes, I have done that with p1 on my first match.

I'm really confused about p1 and map choosing. Does p1 get to pick? Also p1 choosing the map is pretty unfair and personally I don't think it's a great idea for a tourney (I'm also a P1).

Yes, P1 picks the map. Although I don't think it's really fair, this isn't a big competitive tournament, so I don't think it's so bad.

Basically, p1 gets to invite p2 to a match, which involves choosing a map. It is a little unfair, but everyone gets a shot at p1 as far as I know so it should be pretty even.
