RE: 2014 Outwitters World Cup! [Grand Final] - poweewee - 10-25-2014 04:22 PM Yup, it was really interesting. The first scrambler that you had, I was thinking that you might have a scrambler at that hex (I was hoping you didn't), but you gave me no choice but to attack the heavy. On turn 21, I thought heavily on whether I should attack; I thought if you moved your sniper up (where the scrambler is) or if you had a scrambler there, it would probably be over. I finally decided against it; I was surprised you risked a scrambler there! On turn 25 I placed the runner there because I thought it might have to go around a blocker to get to the bottommost hex. So many possibilities on that turn, it's a really good puzzle, maybe someone can find a sure win for turn 27. Anyway, good game as always, Alvendor! :-) RE: 2014 Outwitters World Cup! [Grand Final] - game_taker - 10-31-2014 12:22 PM Absolutely incredible game. What really go me was poweewee's defence, the entire time I was thinking "why so many runners???" then bam turn 23, never seen so many runner be so useful. |
