Build a wall of units
Spawn two medics and heal themselves

Parents parents parents waste his wits
Never leave wit spaces open
Never leave a spawn space undefended
Sometimes heavies can be your Best friend
If he is controlling a lot of the map with his bramble chances are he has only a handful of other units. Unless you let him take all your wit spaces and slaughter all your units with branches. But from then it's game over anyways.

what about Sweetie? Where you have spawn and with spaces spread across an enormous maps, and 3 major attacking paths? Basically build a wall of soldiers across the map! Lol
Then build heavies
I meant a wall to protect your vital organs. Like sniper and medics.

Lol no thanks. I play for fun mostly. I don't really think ahead or invest immense amount of time thinking during my turns.

Although we can see its powerful, perhaps in a few weeks, after all this attention, we will begin to formulate strategies that "nerf" the Bramble, without needing an actual change in mechanics.

I have a very exciting, well I think it's exciting, replay to share.
Here it is

I've actually played this guy quite a bit (look at his league wins and you may know why XD) and were pretty evenly match.
Turn 1-9: usually don't go for the early scrambler on this map so I prepared for a bramble
Turn 9: thought he was a lot farther behind on the unit count. I was wrong
Turn 12: 0.o
Turn 13: BRAMBLE CANNOT GET TO AGGRESSIVE VS SCRAMBLER. This is pretty much how I win
SKIP TURN 14
Turn 15: finally get the medic out for some heavy/medic pwnage
Turn 17: I'm not going to get another scrambler opportunity so minus well sacrifice
rest of the game: I do know how to play bramble pretty well could have won it earlier with a base win. I had too much coffee though, wanted total domination

So I think that 1 heavy and 1 medic can cause a lot of damage to thorns. Also a 2hp medic would have been smarter
