Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - Willythewile - 03-12-2013 10:36 PM Been playing from the beginning, bought everything in the store to support Outwitted, been in the top 100 for months, spent way to much time on the forums and playing Outwitters. When the game changed I never complained I just grew with it and changed my strategy, why? Because I Love This Game!! And I still do!! However, with the new veggie changes Outwitters is no longer fun, so sadly I'm going to quit for awhile, I'll miss you guys and gals and even thought lots of you have kicked my arse multiple time, in away you've been like family. I love you guys, cya RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - TheQwertiest - 03-12-2013 10:39 PM why not stick with friendlies for the moment like a lot of people are doing. i didnt start any games when the new update came. i just finished my old ones. im sticking to friendlies and 2v2 atm. TheQwertiest, you're the best bro, always encouraging RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - terenceshiu2005 - 03-12-2013 10:47 PM Yes, play friendly or 2v2, I guess you may enjoy Outwitters in different angle RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - TheQwertiest - 03-12-2013 10:52 PM thanks i guess.. it would be a shame to lose a consistent top ranker in the game. stick with friendlies. so you dont get rusty and you can get back to leagues if the devs decide to change the recent update. if they dont then find a way to beat the veggies in friendly games before returning to league. So maybe my goodbye was permature. I'll try friendlies for awhile. Thanks for the encouragement RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - TheQwertiest - 03-12-2013 11:16 PM youre welcome RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - M C chan - 03-12-2013 11:39 PM Ok, here's my only way to beat the new bramble: act fast Here's two examples: outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20Yi66NAww outwitters://viewgame?id=ag5vdXR3aXR0ZXJzZ2FtZXIRCxIIR2FtZVJvb20YoMKJAww Of course, these two players could have played better, but anyway, I win XD RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - GreatGonzales - 03-13-2013 02:52 AM I don't think quitting the game outright is the proper response to an update you don't like. I know you've somewhat recanted above, but I'm speaking to others who have had the same or similar reaction. OML has been incredibly generous with their fan support, first by developing a game which did not sell-out with microtransactions and ads, instead giving us great game content, for almost no money. They've worked hard to fix balance issues in the past, giving quite a lot of deference to the preferences of this community. Why abandon ship now, when this change was merely one step along the path to a perfectly balanced game? It's not fair to OML; they do not deserve such a fickle fan response. RE: Even Though I Loved This Game, I Quit - Wildt4lon - 03-13-2013 03:17 AM I say nerfing the bramble is the only way to go. Perhaps keep the retractable thorns and take away the ability to attack? Basically it isn't fun to play bramble on the receiving end. I have lost and won games already because the bramble is extremely forgiving to mistakes and therefore easy to use for all leagues, which isn't reflecting skill levels very well. |
